The monstrous tyrant terrorized the once-peaceful kingdom for years. He devoured the people’s sons and daughters, wives and husbands. His gluttonous hoard overflowed with ill-gotten wealth. He set the virgin land aflame and ravaged the countryside. Many brave souls challenged him, but all failed.

Watching this unfold, the dragon sighed.

Humans could be so cruel.
