"Nainarya"

The iconic weapon of the mad genius kobold Ymp De Saffir, the name Nainarya is Draconic for "let there be fire," derived from the blunderbuss' remarkable habit of setting its ammunition magically aflame through a clever application of alchemy. Nainarya was constructed outside the Prime Material Plane in a realm where the laws of nature are more like guidelines, miraculously allowing it to remain a fully-functioning firearm even with its trumpet-curled barrel. Following the untimely demise of its first wielder, it has since changed hands numerous times and has gone on to attain not only the voice and personality of its creator, but also the properties of a magic item called a Rod of Wonder, renowned and infamous for its myriad random effects. Signifying this alteration is a calligraphic engraving around the flared rim of the barrel, reading "Origato tivol shinalt," or "let anything happen." Nainarya currently hangs on display in a magical collection owned by the realmatic traveler Autumnus Berrycloth, light-years from its planet of origin.
